Naturally delicious lamb from local farms

Here at J and S Rook we strive to provide only best lamb available to us. We use various farms locally and nationally. We source spring lamb when available generally available from Easter onwards. During the summer months May to September we also have available Welsh Gower Valley Saltmarsh Lamb, the meat given by these lambs has to be tasted to be believed. In being allowed to roam on the estuary the lambs eat seaweed and other normally unreachable goodies, they gain a sweeter tastier meat. Ask in store for availability.

Our Lamb farmers are subject to rigorous selection criteria. The lamb must be raised free-range and farmers must employ sustainable land-use practices, comply with international animal welfare requirements and possess a deep understanding of natural pastoral food systems
